Demonstrative Identification with the Universe
= Magic Subjectivism. 1971.

Quasi-autobiographical remarks accompanying some photographical sequences 1971-1984.

While others changed the world in revolutionary poses
and failed full of enthusiasm and morals on the cliffs of the class differences,
I concealed individual impotence,
alienation and injuries suffered early in time by acting out pontifical and philosophical gestures.

Quoted from a lecture by Bernhard J.Blume,
held as a guest professor at the Munich Academy of Visual Arts,
in the summer of 1986.

Mr. Blume, precise as he is in thinking and his art. He takes a step back, to see further on and to get closer to himself. Art could be an emergency exit for the clairvoyant envisioning disintegration.
A lifelong effort succeeding for moments.
