Most of the day is spent doing nothing in particular. There are few recreational facilities in the area. Each gang has its own wall or corner where they hang out There are syndicates selling drugs. The cops know about it, sometimes they take the drugs and sell them in the Varados (rival gang) area. They seldom make arrests; generally for a R50 bribe they’ll look the other way.
