I love to look at family albums. They bear a secret they never will reveal. Photographs strictly for memories. Photographs of long forgotten places, festivities, photographs of times long gone by now. Family and friends; most of them dead by now. Never going to meet them. Never going to know anything about them. Here photography is at is origins.

Following images are from the Trajan Drive Collections (1953 -1956) found at “THESE AMERICANS”, a website installed by the founder of “AMERICAN SUBURB X”, Doug Rickard.

I feel like a time traveler immersing in a completely unknown world: strange landscapes, strange designs, strange colors.
Images possessing a charm a professional never will be able to produce.
