Photography is a silent medium. When photographs start yelling at you, they are usually crap. Paintings usually are louder without turning into noise.

Sometimes I am not only getting tired of my boundaries, but also of the boundaries of the medium photography.

Sometimes I feel that every other art form than photography is freer in its means than photography. Photography is so tied down to reality.

Sometimes I feel like being in a cage. The years after my book I tried to get out of my skin. After many dead-end streets, years running by, I found now a new road to go, but it turned out to be the old one. Looking at my recent images I understand now that I can’t escape from that what I am. But, that’s the good news; between certain parameters there can be development and change.
