Billy Smith is from Johannesburg.
She works as a stripper in the Cage, a Cape Town strip club.
My mother was also a stripper.
They always told me I would be like my mother,
so I am like her. I left home when I was 16.
The only community that would accept me
was the coloured community on the Cape Flats.
I’m white but they took me in as one of their own.
Now I have the same accent as them. People look at me frmnny.
A white speaking like a coloured.
When you work in a place like this you can’t find true love.
You can’t meet Mr. Right. That’s all I want.
